Behind the Scenes with J.J. Abrams
The May issue of Wired is bound to be a strong one. I stumbled upon this behind the scenes video for their Mystery Issue. With the relative ease of online video documentation, its not a mystery that magazines like Wired would invest in promoting upcoming issues in this manner. Going the full length by acquiring puzzles by the legendary Will Shortz, work by renowned comic book artist Paul Pope and Star Trek concept designer Neville Page, articles by best-selling author Jonah Lehrer, photography by Oscar-nominated director David Lynch, Wired stays at the top of its game with this one of a kind issue to hit the shelves May 17th, 2009.
J.J. Abrams is well known for the creation of the hit television series Lost and Hollywood blockbusters such as Cloverfield and the upcoming Star Trek. In 2007 TED released a talk from Abrams that was nothing short of inspiring. He has built his life, persona and projects around this idea of mystery that has yet to fail him being one of our most prolific storytellers to date.

JJ totally rocks, as his fans well know!! I’d like to know more about the people who work closely with him. After all, such large productions are a group effort.

Yeah, I’m sure some of them have played a roll in this issue; he didn’t just sit at Wired’s table all by himself. Nonetheless, it looks like it’ll be a great nab from the bookstore. But before that, Star Trek will hit the screens so this JJ is gonna be the buzz.
